Have you ever experienced a "furniture gap"? It's a situation where you require a
very specific piece of furniture that will complete and work with all the other decor in your room. I've had a furniture gap for the longest time in our
basement gaming room.
Ok, it's not really a gaming room per se, but a small area in our basement with a games table, light fixture overhead, and comfy chairs where the whole family can gather to play board games. I love having this small spot for family game nights or to sit and do a puzzle.

on their site. I was looking for a piece that had both closed storage and open shelving and this one is lovely. There's enough room to hold our board games, puzzles, Legos, and game consoles (yes, I still have video games and my old Playstation 2 kicking around!).
I love its coastal feel and how the neutral finish blends in with the wallpaper and flooring. The angled door fronts and recessed pulls are a lovely detail too. They make this sideboard look much more expensive than it is! With the addition of this sideboard, our games room now functions perfectly.
