My Spring 2021 Collection
If there is one change I am making this year, it's to lean into my creativity.
This year, I'm expressing that creativity through products. Did you know I
have a
Society6 shop
and an Etsy shop? Let me share with you the new products I've introduced for spring!
New Home Decor Products
Are you familiar with Society6? They are a drop ship site. This means I can
create designs, sell them in my online shop, and Society6 takes care of
printing and shipping the actual product. They can print designs on dozens of
different products, everything from coffee mugs to credenzas.
In
my shop,
you'll see my designs on mainly home decor items like pillows and throw, and
some tech and office products. I've ordered a few products myself and used
them in my own home like the
outdoor mats, the
wrapping paper, pillows and
art
and have found their quality to be good.
For spring, I'm introducing
a collection
that features plaids and florals in a palette of creams, taupes, and sage
green with a hint of black.
Here's the designs I've created. Each design is available printed on square pillows, rectangular pillows, outdoor mats, and wrapping paper. You can see the entire collection in my shop.
I love the idea of changing out your front door mat for spring. I switched
ours out to
this one which feels so fresh with our blue front door (Blue Moon Bay by Behr).
Outdoor mats, especially the ones made of coir, tend to fall apart quickly and lose their colour but
I really love the quality of these ones. They're made of vinyl and have a
rubber backing, making them durable enough to stand up to snow or dirt.
The
Taupe Spring Flowers might be my favourite design in the collection. It feels classic yet
updated. The
square shaped pillows
come in both indoor and outdoor fabric. While the quality of the pillow fabric
is good, it is more of a screen print than a woven fabric design so be aware
it won't be textured.
I think I'll have to order a pillow or two for the bench on our front porch.
Here's an idea on how to mix and match patterns. I'd pair this with a front
door painted that peachy beige hue in the outdoor mat for an unexpected, fresh
look.
Spring Home Maintenance and Cleaning Planner
I've only had my Etsy shop up and running for about three months but it's been so fun creating new products for it. I'm focusing on printables for now. I basically run my life using planners, worksheets, and spreadsheets.
I've just released the Home Maintenance and Cleaning Planner. This printable PDF contains 14 worksheets to help you get your home ready for the season and the year ahead. It includes:
- Annual and seasonal home maintenance checklists
- Weekly cleaning schedules (both pre-populated and blank so you can customize your own)
- Warranty and paint trackers
- Maintenance Log and Contact List
- 30 Day Declutter & Organize Challenge
- Family chore chart
- Spring cleaning checklist
And I have a special offer for you! Get the planner for 10% off the $12 CAD price. Just click HERE or use code TAKE10 on checkout.
I hope you enjoy these products. If there's something you think I could design that would add beauty or function to your life, let me know. I'm eager to create new things.
