Christmas Planner 2020
Let's talk about Christmas. Hear me out. You might think it's too early to
think about the holidays, but it's Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend and I
think that marks the unofficial start to the season.
And, if you're like me, you've had the worst year ever and the holidays are
one happy and bright thing in life that you're eager to focus on. Who's with

2020 Christmas Planner
Which is why I'm determined to make this Christmas the best ever. Pandemic restrictions might mean we physically can't be together (even Thanksgiving will be just our family of three) which makes those moments we do share with others even more important. I've put together this Christmas Planner 2020 to help me (and you!) feel prepared and ready to enjoy each meal, tradition, and gathering.
I've always been a planner. I still have the budget worksheet for my wedding, the daily itinerary for our trip to Asia in 2005, and my hand-drawn decorating plans for each room in my first apartment. Planning makes me happy. I like maximizing my enjoyment out of any event and knowing what's to come. And with Christmas, there's always the desire to fit so much in in just a few weeks.
Christmas can be so stressful. But this year, I think it's a different kind of stress. Some of us are dealing with lowered incomes or unemployment. Get togethers won't be the same. You might be hosting and cooking for the first time. Or trying to find ways to plan a virtual party. Can you still have your annual cookie exchange? How do you cook a perfect roast if Mom is not there to show you how?
You can do all those things. It's just going to take a little planning.
I've put together this 30-page printable PDF for the organizer in all of us. There's something about putting pen to paper and having a plan that instantly makes you feel more capable and prepared.
The planner features a clean, modern design and contains three
sections:
- Calendars: Monthly calendars for October to December, a weekly calendar, plus checklists and Day Of agendas for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. I've also included a list of 30 holiday activities - great for planning an activity-based Advent calendar.
- Gifting: Pages to track your gift ideas, items you've bought, and your online purchases. There's also a wish list you can ask your favourite people to fill out. You'll be guaranteed to give them a gift they love!
- Celebrations: The Decorating Ideas and Party Plan pages are my favourite; you can plan your theme/event on a single page! There's also templates for writing down family recipes and working out the menu for gatherings.
