Refreshing Our Home For Spring
Are you ready for more spring decorating inspiration? Today I'm joining 23 awesome bloggers on the Canadian Bloggers Spring Home Tour hosted by Shannon of Home Made Lovely and Christina of The DIY Mommy. Come on in and have a look around!
Spring is a time to bring in alllll the flowers, don't you think? I've sprinkled different arrangements throughout the house and I'm not even sorry about it. Their bright colours are such a refreshing change from the neutral tones of winter. These tulips are intended my office but they look pretty sweet here at the front entry.
I've changed out the federal mirror for this word art and a vintage enamel pitcher filled with more hot pink blooms. I can't help but smile when I see these cheery and bright flowers welcome me home.
Things have lightened up in our living room too. I love the casual striped bistro chair paired with the more formal moulding and mirror. And, it has taken a while, but I'm finally trying my hand at caring for a fiddle leaf fig. At $17 from Home Depot, I couldn't resist!
Look at all that sunshine! Ahh, I love this time of year. I've brought some of our plants to the front window to take advantage of the light.
Changing out the pillows and throws is an easy way to make a room feel fresh. I still love this Rifle Paper Co. pillow I bought at Indigo last year. The print is so charming. Almost time to fill that bunny jar (it's from HomeSense!) with Easter chocolates too ;)
Pink and florals, there seems to be a theme.
This runner is a new addition. I had it in the kitchen but it wasn't quite working it in the space. It works perfectly here by the window seat though and the jute texture adds a bit of that warm weather feeling.
I always find styling shelves to be a challenge. Do you? I like how these have ended up though, simple and clean.
I hope you've enjoyed the tour! Now head over and check out these beautiful homes all decorated for spring.
