Looking Back At 2012
Its that time of year when we take one last glimpse back before the enthusiasm of what lies ahead takes hold. I love that I have the blog to actually look back on and see just what went on around here. Here's some of the things I'll remember from 2012:
1. We started 2012 on a high, with our house being featured in the pages of Style At Home magazine...
2. Up up and away! We threw a Hot Air Balloon birthday for Chloe.
3. I brought Nicole to town to speak at the first ever BlogPodium.
4. I found a fun way to store my extra paint.
5. I helped my sister with this bathroom renovation and this one too at her house...
6. We took a family vacation and enjoyed the Key West architecture.
7. We gave you a first look at the basement.
8. I discovered that stripes and an organized closet could make house cleaning much more fun.
9. I moved offices and found a new place to blog...
10. We created the laundry room of our dreams...
11. I spent hours crouched in a little room, earning my stencilling stripes...
12. And we finally created a place to craft, create, sew, and let our imaginations run free.
Okay, so 2012 was a little focused on the basement renovation and it looks like early 2013 will be too. But that's okay, because nothing brings me more joy than building a home for my family and sharing it all with you. It's all good. Here's to 2013!
