It's Friday. And Friday of a long weekend - even better. Let's get a' talkin'.
If you ask a blogger what they love most about blogging, inevitably they will say its the sense of community. Sometimes, writing a blog can be like inviting your best girlfriends over to your house and chatting over a cup of coffee. Your friends laugh at your inside jokes, they get you, you could talk on for hours. And if you're lucky, you stay friends for a long time.
That's how I feel about you all. Some of you know more about me (and my home) than my real life friends and family - though I've recently realized friends I've had for 30 years (Hi Antonella! Hi Ana! Hey Cath!) have started to read my blog so that may not hold true for much longer ;) I started this blog when I was engaged and living in a condo, and now we're a family of three living in an (almost) fully-renovated house. That's a lot of blogging over the last five years and I wouldn't have stuck to it for so long if it wasn't for each and every one of you.
So this BlogTalk, on the Easter holiday weekend, is a little different. I just want to say Thank You for being part of my community. Whether I'm trying to sew for the first time, coming up with a design scheme, or just sharing my fears as a mom - you make me feel like you've got my back. You are infinitely supportive and for that I am grateful.
xo,
Jen
