Camp Escape
It was great to see your enthusiastic response to the new Pinspirations! series (and to know that I'm not alone in my addiction). Expect to see more inspiring pins weekly.
As we head into the weekend, here's a few little links to help you remember those sweet moments of summer...
Found Free & Flea (don't you love that title?), the blog and book, is the brainchild of author, blogger and designer Tereasa Suratt. Tereasa and her husband purchased a derelict summer camp in Wisconson, filled to the brim with discarded and forgotten treasures...old board games, tin picnic baskets, boy scout patches - you know, all the stuff I keep hunting for at antique shows!. With her designer eye, Tereasa recognized that she could assemble these objects into pleasing vignettes. The book Found Free & Flea chronicles her adventures in collecting these and other treasures and how she has displayed them around her summer camp, Camp Wandawega. Here's a peek at some of the lovelies:
Wouldn't you love to sneak away to a camp that looked like this? Well you can. Click here to find out more about Camp Wandawega. Her book is definitely on my To Buy list; I'm in need of ideas on how to style things without it ending up looking like a pile of old stuff.
By the way, if I stayed at the camp, I wonder if they would let me stay in the nursery where they have done this very cool paint-by-numbers mural.

Have a GREAT weekend!
