A peek at the Piero Lissoni exhibit |
This morning, I attended the media preview for the Interior Design Show, or IDS12. For the Canadian design community, this is the show that we wait for all year long. IDS12 is a showcase for emerging and established designers and architects and highlights the latest in residential products.

My favourite booth (so far) was the lounge by Piero Lissoni. Lissoni will be recognized with the inaugural IDS12 International Guest of Honour and one look at this booth and you can see he is truly a master at creating elegant, understated spaces. His booth was a calm oasis in the chaos of the show floor and I am betting this will be the most popular spot to lounge at tonight's Gala.

The Interior Design Show kicks off tonight with the Opening Night gala and runs until Sunday, January 29th. If you are looking for inspirational design, this is the place to be.

And if that wasn't enough design goodness, IDS12 plays host to our first BlogPodium event on Friday:
We are expecting a packed house, fabulous speakers and what is sure to be an interesting discussion. I look forward to seeing many of you there and at IDS12!
